1.Licence to use the App

Mura is free to download and use for your personal, non-commercial purposes. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and these Terms.

The App, its design, branding, the "Mura" name and logo, and all related intellectual property remain the property of the Provider. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the App except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

2.On-device AI & model downloads

Mura lets you download open language models and run them entirely on your device. Models are downloaded on demand from third-party repositories (such as Hugging Face). You are responsible for ensuring you have sufficient storage, a suitable network connection for the initial download, and a device capable of running your chosen model.

Model files can be large and may consume significant storage, memory, battery, and mobile data. We are not responsible for any data charges, storage usage, or device performance impact resulting from downloading or running models.

3.AI output — no reliance

You must not rely on AI output as a substitute for professional advice, including but not limited to medical, legal, financial, or safety-related matters. You are solely responsible for evaluating the accuracy and suitability of any output and for any decisions or actions taken based on it.

4.Acceptable use

You agree not to use Mura, or any model run through it, to:

• break any applicable law or regulation, or infringe the rights of others;
• generate content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, hateful, or that sexually exploits or endangers minors;
• create malware, conduct fraud, or attempt to compromise the security of any system;
• generate deceptive content presented as human-authored where doing so is unlawful or misleading; or
• violate the acceptable-use or licensing terms of any model you download (see Section 5).

5.Third-party models & services

Models available through Mura are created and licensed by third parties and are downloaded from third-party sources. Your use of each model is additionally governed by that model's own licence and acceptable-use policy, which you agree to comply with. These include, among others:

• Meta's Llama Acceptable Use Policy and community licence (for Llama models);
• Google's Gemma Terms of Use and Prohibited Use Policy (for Gemma models);
• the respective Apache 2.0, MIT, or other licences accompanying models such as Qwen, Phi, Mistral, and SmolLM.

Downloads are served by Hugging Face, whose Terms of Service apply to that part of the service. We do not host the models ourselves and make no warranty about their content, accuracy, or availability.

6.Device security

To keep the App working as intended, you should use it on a device that has not been jailbroken, rooted, or otherwise modified in a way that removes manufacturer security protections. Doing so may expose your device and data to risks and may cause the App to malfunction; we accept no liability for issues arising from such modifications.

7.Updates, changes & availability

We may update the App from time to time to add features, fix issues, or maintain compatibility with new operating systems and devices. Some updates may be required for the App to continue functioning. We may also change, suspend, or discontinue the App, or any part of it, at any time and without notice. The App is provided on an ongoing-availability basis and we do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free.

8.Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors, or that any AI output will be accurate or reliable.

9.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the App or any AI output. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10.Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Cyprus shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the App, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.

11.Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and post the revised Terms here. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
